OS Panto, Italien manufacturer of drying kilns,
are using Alent Dynamic and is now running 29 system in France and 3 system in Poland. New stainless steel kilns for Scandinavian market from OS Panto is specially adapted to dynamic drying.
SP has measured significant energy savings in a kiln with Alent Dynamic®control system
The Alent vision is that all batch kilns in the world shall be controlled by Alent Dynamic® control system. Alent will not manufacture any kilns. Therefor we presented several mechanical solutions for kiln constructions at this year’s LIGNA trade show. We want to push energy-efficient wood drying solutions that utilize all possibilities with Alent Dynamic®.
In a full scale demo project funded by Setra, Alent and The Swedish Energy Agency, one of this new solutions was tested. Measurements by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden showed great improvements in the drying of pine 50 mm to 18% compared to conventional drying:
61% lower power consumption
20% less heat consumption
15% faster drying time and tension free wood

Alent Drying control systems - an international success. 30 systems sold for export in July 2015 after the LIGNA fair.
The Alent control system was a success at the LIGNA fair 2015. 11 systems were sold during the fair and another 30 were sold abroad during July.
OS Panto manufactures kilns in stainless steel with Alent control system. This attracted many visitors to the Alent stand. A dozen other kiln manufacturers visited us to learn more about the AlentPump and our complementary patents solutions. We are now receiving inquiries for new kilns with Alent control system, in which we can provide valuable information to the customer depending on their preference.
Professor Thomas Gustafsson's education in dynamic drying control was much appreciated and applauded by the visitors.
